    OPTIONAL Subanose

    Fit our cast nosecone instead of cutting your center differential housing down, TIG welding up and fitting the Subaplug. Fits all TY752/TY754/TY755/TY757/TY758 transmissions and is supplied with a new shift shaft oil seal. If fitting to a TY752 transmission, you will need all the internal mechanism and shift rod from a TY754 or later transmission.

    Optimised shortened shift shaft housing (very handy for Vanagon installs) and optimised shape for maximum clearance. Fit your shift shaft, reverse lockout mechanism and oil catcher from your donor transmission.

    Syncro AWD kit


    Syncro

    Replace your Syncro transmission with a Subaru transmission. The Syncro transmission has the output for the tailshaft at the lower part of the transmission whereas a standard Subaru has the output for the tailshaft at the upper part.

    This kit allows you to remove the standard Subaru rear plate and transfer gears, replacing them with this Syncro rear plate, oil seal, output shaft and tailshaft drive flange. The propshaft is now moved to the lower part of the transmission, clearing the chassis transverse rail.

    Subadiff limited slip differential (LSD)

    Our torque sensing limited slip differential center provides traction to both wheels on slippery surfaces such as gravel, ice, snow, mud and dirty roads. Using internal helical gears, the differential senses a difference in rotational speed between one side and the other, providing drive to both axles in the event of wheelspin.

    Highly recommended for high power or heavy installations such as turbo engines, H6 engines, Vanagon/Syncro conversions. This differential center is far sturdier than the stock Subaru open differential center.

    Work with both reversed transaxles and regular rotation transaxles. Works on all Subaru 5MT & 6MT transaxles (TY75 series) and using the supplied adaptor rings works with Subaru 6 STi transaxles (TY85 series).

    Does not require special gear oil or adjustment throughout it's life - simply use the regular 75w/90 gear oil in your transaxle.

    Subastub axles are for use in Subaru transaxles using the newer style shaft seals (5MT TY754 late and up, 6MT TY751 & TY756, 6 STi TY85). Use Subastub axles if you are using Subaflanges or the earlier 5MT CV joints in your conversion.

    Older Subaru transaxles (TY752, early TY754) use an older style shaft seal and Subaru stub axles without the raised part. Order the TY752 Subastub axles to fit to your Subadiff if you have the older transmission style.

    Subashifter offset shifter

    Beetle / Karmann Ghia / Thing / Buggy / Split Window bus

    Connect up your Subaru 'hockey stick' shift rod (which is offset 50mm to the right of center) with your VW shift rod (centered in the car). Press and weld the bung into the VW shift rod. Tighten the grub screw and locking nut onto the Subaru hockey stick and the Subashifter takes care of the angles.

    Subavss vehicle speed sensor and mount

    Late model transmissions without Subaru VSS built into the side

    Late model Subarus use the ABS sensor rings on the wheel for speed sensor instead of the previous VSS vuilt into the transmission. This bracket and sensor mounts to the side of the transmission and uses the rises and falls in the Subaflange to sense the wheel speed. Sensor comes with a handy LED to adjust the distance from the Subaflange until it's correct. Kit includes sensor, mount bracket and mounting bolts.

    Subamount engine & transmission mount kit

    Beetle / Karmann Ghia / Thing / Buggy

    Mount any Subaru EJ, EG, EZ or FA engine and Subaru transmission to your Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Thing or buggy. Positions your driveline perfectly with the minimum clearance to the torsion bar and to frame horns. Suitable for IRS and non-IRS pan frame horn shapes.

    Use the lower mounting hole to have your twin cam engine at standard driveline height - use standard Subaflanges and 15 5/8" axles. A Kafer brace can be attached to the upper mount holes to aid in supporting the weight and torque of your driveline.

    For beetle builds with quad cam engines only, use the upper mounting hole to have your driveline at alowered height - use extended Subaflanges and custom shortened axles. This will require you to also use a Kafer brace on the lower holes to support the weight and torque of your driveline.

    Split window Kombi

    Use the upper mounting hole to have your twin cam or quad cam engine at the required lowered driveline height - use extended Subaflanges and custom shortened axles. This will require you to also use a Kafer brace on the lower holes to support the weight and torque of your driveline.

    Bay window Kombi

    Use the inner and outer L brackets and bolt-in crush tubes to create a solid platform on your chassis rails. Used in conjunction with the standard Subaru crossmember, this creates the most stable mounting system for your Subaru engine. Install your driveline into the engine bay and drill the four holes to bolt the Subaru crossmember to the L brackets - just like stock Subaru. he transmission front mount is used with your 'elephant tusk' torsion bar mount to locate the driveline in the optimum position.

    Subaflanges

    Convert Subaru stub axles to VW or Porsche CV joints.

    NOTE : Our 930 Subaflanges use the 3/8" aftermarket imperial threads now supplied with most 930 CV kits..

    Standard Version - most applications. Fit 5MT, 6MT and R180 differentials.

    Standard version places the CV joints in their standard location. Installed face to face width is 315mm vs Kombi 286mm. Uses 15 5/8" (396.87mm) Kombi axles & CV's in Beetle, Karmann Ghia, Kombi & Vanagon/Bulli/T25/T3.

    Extended Version - only beetles with quad cam engines.

    Extended version places the CV joints outboard of the frame horns. Only for use with shortened axles in Beetles with Quad cam motors to lower the engine and fit under the rear decklid. Does not apply to any other vehicle and engine combination. The Subaru transmission places the engine 55mm higher in the chassis than a VW transmission. Use of the extended Subaflanges in beetles with quad cam engines reduces this by 32mm for a difference of 23mm. Please order your shortened axles (346mm or 13 5/8" total length) from your friendly axle manufacturer.

    R160 version

    R160 version fits onto the smaller stub axles of the Subaru R160 stand-alone rear differential. This may be used as a front differential either in standard or upside down location (depending on drive). R160 Subaflanges allow Kombi 100mm CV joints to be bolted to this differential.
